Rondo has been long in need of a new dispensary for the needs of the College where it is situated, but also to support the local community. The new building is almost ready for internal decoration and furnishing and it is hoped that it will serve students, staff and surrounding villages in the very near future. A large water tank is ready and awaiting the rainy season to begin harvesting rainwater from the guttering fixed to the roof. This was generously funded by the British Tanzania Society’s charitable trust. The original building was planned and begun with support from the Dutch Doctors group. Treatment for malaria, maternity services, HIV and Aids treatments are available, along with many other health advice and medication.
