The area shown was previously one large diocese of Masasi but it was so vast that it was divided into two. Newala is the smaller of the areas but both encompass a very big area that serves mostly rural parishes in remote rural areas reached by unmade roads and without mains water or electricity. There are some urban centres at Masasi and Lindi and smaller towns such as Tunduru and Newala. Wherever you visit you would be assured of the warmest Tanzanian welcome!
