The Grille Foundation have been working with the Diocese of Masasi and also through World Vision in order to put the Diocese on a sustainable footing so that it can set up projects that not only provide much needed clean and reliable water for villages, but can also raise income in order to further support communities.
One of the villages which will benefit from this project is the village of Namasakata near Tunduru. This village has long been a beloved place in the history of the diocese and was the original site of Rondo Junior Seminary before it relocated. This is the site where the first Anglican Girl’s School in Tanzania is in the process of being built. A water reliable water supply is therefore essential.
